A BOLD GOSPEL COMMITMENT TO LOVING THE CITY & THE EXPATS COMMUNITY FOR THE LONG TERM by securing a permanent, physical space in Geneva.

What do we Have?

• We have Jesus as our King. We have a vision for a strong Gospel presence in Geneva as we join other churches and play our part. We have a small pocket full of faith.

• We have a solid financial foundation. 260.000CHF already raised and set aside (Plus we have saved another 40.000CHF for Operational Reserves fund which is prudent in these uncertain & trying times)

• We have an engaged young church community looking at all possible opportunities to making this vision a reality, but this is something we recognise we will need help with from other gospel partners like you.

What do we Need?

We need to raise at least 155.000 to 230.000chf towards a deposit to purchase a ministry centre. (We are in advanced dialogue with one potential place but we are also opening up to see what other options are out there) We know we will need a minimum 330k deposit for the banks to consider any application for a mortgage. We also know we can get 10 -15 years mortgages at about 1.07 interest rates. Thus cutting our monthly venue expenses by almost two thirds and giving us 24/7 ministry space (total game-changer). We can only imagine what ministry and outreach opportunities this can unleash for our fledgeling community.

Why? Our vision has outgrown our current venue.

• FOR THE KIDS: In Sept, when we returned to the in-person gathering after the first Covid shut down, we received nine new boys aged 5-9 join our already bursting redeemer Kids ministry. You can imagine the energy level and vibrancy of life. We do not have adequate room for all these new families. We need more space.

• FOR THE BABIES & PARENTS: New many new babies have arrived. In a period of about 18 months, we would have seen seven new babies born into our community. We do not have any safe crèche space for the new babies or even a nappy changing table. There is no place for new parents to put their newborns down to relax and enjoy fellowship and engage in the worship gathering.

• FOR THE TEENS: Lastly, our teenagers have been meeting behind a door in the corridor toward the bathrooms. We are not ok with that. We want to create more space which will send a loud and clear message to our young people “ there is room for you here, and they are welcome ” we want to create a HUB for other youth groups in this region.

  We believe God has generously lavished His love and grace to us over the years. The vision God initially gave us over six years ago has outgrown the pot it was planted. We are excited to dive deeply in what God has for us in this next vision step.
